A riveting tale of arson, murder, morally questionable marriages, and of course, three orphans. The Netflix series stays faithful, and I recommend it highly!

Some might find this book enjoyable but personally I had to give up on finishing the series in the middle of book number three. All the books seemed to be a repeat of the last. In every book there’s the same villain that the children immediately know is the villain but no matter how much proof they have the adults around them never believe them until the very end.The name of the series is A series of unfortunate events but the only unfortunate event so far is that their parents died in an accident. I would recommend calling it A series of incompetent adults.Maybe some will think that this review is unreasonable and it all changes in the fourth book but if that’s the case I would argue that if an author makes the first three books boring and repetitive and first in the fourth book it becomes exciting and different then it isn’t a well-written series.
